It is every man's idea and satisfaction to think of being in control. It started when man was conceived, way back in the days before Christ and it would last life-time. Controlling is part of security to manage and contain other individuals with the aim that they yield to whatever direction you want them to go. Not only does it apply to man but other things also. But most important of this is to us. It seats beyond every man's head that he seats at the very back and pilot everyone with what he wishes is credible for them. Making them account for what is fault to him. It is the power house which gives man the reason to stick out his muscular chest, with the fore-knowledge that subordinate would run to catch whatever balls he throws in the air. Not only did God create us in his image to behave differently from what he wishes but also our parents; the results is all the same to all, they need to control. God knows he can manage us either way. We are subject to him and shall be accountable. Whether your belief is me or the bible or neither, Control is what makes the world what it is today as much as what God has made in us, something he has in order for all things to be managed or not managed. The wrongs are his accounts to take care of and we would not dwell much on that. Without control, only chaos and destabilization would take room. The results, which ultimately destroys everything that has been built by 'controlling'. Our universe exists because it is controlled by something in control which by controlling put all the planets in place (in their axis). If the earth could make a firm decision like us, getting stubborn and stops moving around as scientist claim it does, an immeasurable catastrophe that has never been experienced in the motherland could rock us. I can imagine everything flying off. The earth is a moving vehicle which we sit on. Thus everything needs to be controlled in order for order to be exercised. Dealing with non-human things is not a big problem. The race for power play kick starts when human beings push start.
It began with Adam and Eve, set to end with human race. A race which races for what it calls! With limits undetermined by anything, a recipe for subsiding man to please a hungry man for power play. Either greedy or for whatever reason. Someone has to be in control. Are you in control? Whether yes or no, nobody can ever be in total control. Man is symbiotic, yields to what he thinks is right to him because someone thought is right for him. But how can man be right by himself, it has to be a reflection from the other man. The very man, whether right or wrong has it right in his thinking. He thinks right and wrong or right with the wrong motive. A path through which no man can ever escape. A tunnel in which right and wrong seat next to each other and only a breath-wrong or right away from a wrong-right man. This is where the complex contradiction of man begins. Two sides to one thing like a two way mirror. A point where subordinates needs to pay attention to his ruler. The art of arrogance, within which the ruler with a sense of goodwill underplays to those under control. The medium for mistakes and a source for corruption and evil doings. Who said all this are negative, wrong or whatever. This is the writer's perception. The Jews were kicked out of Israel for decades for reasons man can never comprehend. They were rejected, beaten, and even killed. Who in his right perception could actually explain this to us? The Basarwa refused to leave the Central Kalahari game reserve for ancestral reasons. Infact, they never actually as collective individuals made a decision to defy the request. Someone did on their behalf. Whether it would have been for good reasons for them to vacate the area, no one knows! But I hope it would have. They accepted one by one man's rules to stay or not stay. This is where control falls in. Who gave who the right to decide for others what to do or what not to do? Survival international stood side-lines with the Basarwa, and claimed they should be given right to stay. The government of Botswana claimed they should move closer to social resources. Who has claim? Them, the government or The International Right Group.... Who said rights are right and right for who? Who is in control? Nobody want to be controlled, unless controlled in the direction they want. But there should be someone in control.
Professor K Good in his book 'Diamonds, dispossession and democracy in Botswana' writes his perception fully guided by the Botswana media as his reference. Him, deported with claims by the government as a threat to democracy, comes with a bang which could be intimidating to someone in ‘power and control’. He outlined a roadmap which could be misleading to people under control. Whether right or wrong? He writes what people in control are doing that an ordinary person like me would never have recognized. He had the power and the master brain to write but he is not in total control. He could lead some people somewhere but they must be careful about his writings. Batswana are what they are today because of things they don't know. How confusing? Sometimes life is life regardless of what is going on or maybe not. In the end, we all know not only people in power can control. We also have a window of control to figure out our way. We are under a democratic rule. The rule that stands all tests in time depending on what one man thinks and what trials he want for us. That is not all true, not one man can ever be in full control. He is dependent on what is under control for him to rule. The ticket which we give to him as power. The voting power is also as powerful as one man’s power. Do not let the ruling man rule without your rule. Rule for him to rule your rules. Though it won’t be complete ruling for you, at least you had time to rule. You controlled whom you want over control.
